Wokingham Borough Council are working alongside partners and local communities to help deliver the ambitions of the Communities Vision, ensuring its plans and services align with what residents have said matters most.
The Council Plan 2025 to 2030 has been developed directly in line with the Communities Vision 2035, ensuring that the ambitions shaped by thousands of local voices guide how services are planned and delivered.
The plan focuses on four key themes – Fair, Green, Safe and Connected – all designed to create a borough where everyone can thrive and feel part of a strong community.
Through this plan, the council sets out clear goals for improving access to opportunities, supporting wellbeing and strengthening community links, all while protecting our environment and making neighbourhoods safer.
It also commits to fairness and inclusion through its new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy, ensuring that the borough’s growth benefits everyone and supports the shared community ambitions for the future.
